There are a number of different sections to the Duke of Edinburgh Award and we can help with the volunteering and skills sections.

 

   We offer a 3 month volunteering placement. In this time young leaders will have the chance to support older leaders in activities and learn the basics such as working the bar/supporting members and setting up club.

   We also offer a 3 month skills placement. If they do this they can extend their volunteering to 6 months. Within these 3 months we will work on 6 skills. During the 3 month placement, we meet with each young person for 15 min a month to talk about how they are progressing and what they can improve on.
